The monograph deals with issues related to the activities of the procuratorial authorities as subjects of the system of crime prevention of the Russian Federation. General theoretical aspects of the organization of such activities have been comprehensively studied, as well as certain areas of activity, including the prevention of violations of the law by and against minors, terrorism, the use of information technology to commit criminal acts, corruption, etc. Particular attention has been paid to the role of the Procurator’s Office in the nationwide prevention system. The effectiveness of the use of basic means of prevention (warnings, representations, etc.) and foreign experience in preventing offences is analysed separately by the procurator’s office.
