This work, which was published in the year of the 555th anniversary of the first written mention of the Spassk monastery and the 10th anniversary of its revival, is an enlarged version of the book published 5 years ago for the 550th anniversary of the monastery. Over the past years, painstaking work has been carried out in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno and in the Russian State Historical Archives (St. Petersburg). This made it possible to supplement the historical part of the book with some previously unpublished facts from the rich history of the ancient monastery. The edition consists of 12 chapters, each of which reflects a certain stage in the life of the Savior monastery. The historical excursion ends with a list of sources and literature used. The section describing the modern revival of the monastery contains a chapter describing the events that took place in the lives of people through their prayers in front of the revered icon of the Mother of God "Quick to Hearken". The book is richly illustrated and in landscape format.
