The main character of the novel is a man full of images of the past, sadness, dreams, love and loneliness, whose life is like scattered pieces of a puzzle. Two main plot lines of the work can be seen in Coriantel of his thoughts, feelings and emotions: the first is about the story of the tragic life and death of the narrator's friend, the artist Gigo, and the second is about the main character's visit to his mother and their spiritual, deep and extremely delicate relationship.
