The author in the book, in four chapters, chronologically describes the events in Kozarac area since the Serbian takeover of power in Prijedor on April 30, 1992 until the day he was released from the detention camp of Manjaca and the first days of refuge. Details in the first chapter describe the period from the takeover of power in Prijedor to the attack of the Serb forces on Kozarac on May 24, 1992. The second and third chapters refer to the days of detention in the Omarska camp, leaving as the last detainee and detention camps on Manjaca. The focus is in the last chapter of the refugee period, after surviving the torture of both camps after 197 days.
