The collective monograph is devoted to the life and activity of Princess Anna Catherine of Sangushki, the wife of the Chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Prince King Stanislaus Radziwill (f 1719). Early widowed, she did not marry a second time, but devoted herself to raising children, managing many estates of the Radziwill family, as well as political intrigue in the Commonwealth. Anna of Sangushki Radziwill spent some time in Mir, which not only contributed to the revival of the local castle, but also contributed to the economic prosperity of the town and its surroundings. This study is devoted to the “secular” period of her biography. Aspects such as family upbringing, marital relations, raising children, economic activities and relations with the subjects, everyday life in Mir and Mir Castle, the psychological features of this extraordinary woman, as well as the known iconographic material related to Anna from Sangushka Radziwill.
