The book, prepared to the 80th anniversary of the deportation of Karachay people, consists of 8 chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to Karachay of ancient times. The second chapter turns to "The political situation of the country in the period of Stalin repressions". The third one is devoted to the eviction of Karachay people. The next chapter tells about the contribution of our people to the development of agriculture and the economy of the countries of Central Asia and Kazakhstan, the fifth chapter is devoted to the return of the Karachays to the Caucasus, in the sixth chapter a chronology: "The main stages of the process of rehabilitation of the Karachay people" is placed, in the seventh there are materials from the book by Shamanov I.M. , Tambieva B., Abrekova L.O.
