1940 In June, Lithuanians planned harvests, holidays, graduations and planned their future. Summer weekends were planned for May, excursions, conventions of various organizations, sports, recreation and, of course, agricultural work. The government also did not use it, approving the largest annual budget and blessing the country's plans to electrify and improve connectivity. The Church was anxiously awaiting the biggest planned reform, the legalization of civil marriage. All of Lithuania enjoyed the dreamy Vilnius and Vilnius. The country, teeming with works, ideas and rumors, was already somewhat accustomed to the war going on around Europe. Nevertheless, the men marched to the radios, newspaper pages, or dairies to discuss the German march to Paris. How will the war pendulum turn?
