1917 was a year of destruction of the old Russian army. Being one of the most powerful in the world, it turned into unruly crowd of armed men, and then completely collapsed within a few months becoming a fuel for the approaching Civil War. Such a rapid collapse was a surprise not only for ordinary Russians but even for the Bolsheviks. In 1920 there was published a large number of documents shedding light on the true causes of these tragic events. A considerable part of them is presented in this collection.
