We all remember the days when travel became our new hobby. Visa-free travel, low-cost carriers and the desire to see the world have become drivers of this process. "Are we rushing to Wroclaw?", "Oh, there are cheap tickets to Barcelona!", "Let's go to Bonn for the weekend. There is nothing to do there for more than two days. " It seemed to us that this would always be the case, but no. The coronavirus has turned the world upside down, changing both the way we work and the way we rest. The borders were closed, and travel became either very difficult or impossible. But let's be optimistic. With small steps the world returns to normal life. And so - there will be trips that can be planned now. After all, the anticipation of travel often brings more euphoria than the journey itself.
In this book you will find a hint where to go as soon as the borders are opened. Geographer and traveler Roman Malenkov has collected 10 countries that, in his opinion, are worth visiting after quarantine. We are faced with Slovakia, Albania, Greece, Malta, the Czech Republic, Turkey and other countries that have particularly impressed the traveler and where he will return. The author talks about his travels, focusing on places to visit and things to do to feel and see the country, not just put the "bird" that you were there. So, let's get ready to travel!
Roman Malenkov is a traveler, travel blogger, founder of the local history site "Ukraine Incognita" and owner of the tour operator of the same name. Author of a number of guides to Ukraine. He is a participant in numerous field research and expeditions in Ukraine and Ukrainian ethnic lands abroad: in Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Hungary. The author's local lore collection includes about a thousand settlements in four dozen countries.
