Scientific works by the outstanding Samara linguist, candidate of philological sciences, professor Eugene Kubarev (1921-2001) are devoted to the comparative linguistics, one of the most important and topical branches of language science. Questions of comparative-syntactic and comparative-stylistic study of conceptual grammatical categories of the Russian, German, French and English languages on basis of comparison of fiction, its different authors' versions and translations are observed in the present publication.
