The brochure discloses the history of V.Domogatskii's illustrations to the works by Turgenev. Domogatskii was born in 1909 in Moscow in the family of a sculptor; in 1927 he entered the workshop of Pavlinov; in 1938 he finished the graphic faculty of the polygraphic institute. The works by Domogatskii are kept in the collections of many museums in Russia and abroad.
