The monograph is dedicated to the problem of syntactic organization of the poetic speech form, in particular, - to the problem of word order in German-language poetic discourse. The theoretical part of the paper analyzes the forms and functions of word order in the German language, the features of its evolution and the current state. In the practical part, attention is focused on the phenomenon of inversion as a form of deviation from the usual word order due to the peculiarities of the poetic form of speech.
