The publication is dedicated to a unique cultural phenomenon - wooden sacred architecture of Belarus, the complexity of its historical destiny and artistic significance. The author considers the monuments of wooden church building of different Christian denominations as a common cultural heritage of the Belarusian people, offers a new art systematization and classification of temples according to their architecture and concept of formation.
