This unique photoalbum reflects the five-year history of Transdniestrian women's movement: the first in the world two-month political women's strike with the blockade of railway (so called “rail war”), a lot of actions of protest in front of police departments and the Office of Public Prosecutor... When the armed confrontation between Transdniestria and Moldova became the war on April 22, 1992 a lot of unarmed Transdniestrian women came in at the front line to show their solidarity with the fighting men. All these and many other events fixed in photographs the reader will find in the present album.
