The novel "With a Strong Flap of Wings" is dedicated to the November Revolution, the heroic struggle of Ukrainians for freedom. Antin Krushelnytskyi, being an eyewitness to these events, describes the difficult situation in Halychyna at the time of the confrontation that raged on its territory, the unwillingness of the majority of officials and intelligentsia to depart from the traditions of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and accept the possibility of creating a Ukrainian state.
