The Bialystok and Grodno lands on the western borders, where the ancestors of the Belarusians lived from time immemorial (and in ancient times - just "local people"), have experienced a lot over the centuries of their existence - these are redistributions with partitions, and raids, and wars, and life under the shadow of different coats of arms, crowns, banners, and a change of state affiliation, and power, starting with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Rusko and Zhemoytsky, as well as all symbolism in general (especially in the XX-XXI centuries).
This book is devoted to the specified period of life and development of Bialystok and Grodno and some other Belarusian lands, the role of the special services that confronted each other in different eras, especially during the Great Patriotic War and in the post-war period. The events considered in it also cover the period of the creation in October 1939 of the NKVD Directorate of the Belostok Region, the heroic chronicle of the struggle of employees of the NKVD (NKGB) special groups behind enemy lines in Belostotchina and Grodno Region during the period of the popular partisan movement, the creation in 1944 of the NKGB Directorate of the Grodno Region, search and exposure of Nazi punishers and their accomplices, post-war struggle against banditry and special services of the new post-war enemy, as part of the KGB of the BSSR. Previously unpublished documents on the activities of the special services in different periods of their difficult history are presented
