The historical novel "Weapon" by Vladimir Korotkevich is thematically intertwined with the novel "Ears of Wheat under Your Sickle", but is not a continuation, but a kind of branch from the remarkable epic work. Among the heroes of the story are Ales Zagorsky, Mstislav Mayevsky, as well as the brothers Kondrat and Andrey Kagut, already familiar to readers of "Kolasov". The action takes place in 1862 in Moscow, where Ales and his friends arrive on the instructions of Kastus Kalinovsky to obtain weapons for future rebels.
