The publication is dedicated to one of the corners of North Russian culture - Ust-Tsilma (basin of the Pechora River), the beauty of its nature, people and oral and poetic tradition. The basis of the pictorial series was made up of photographs taken by A.V. Afanasyevs in their trips to the Ust-Tsilemsky district since 2010. The sources of folklore texts and oral stories were published and archival materials collected in the XX-XXI centuries, 73 of 180 texts are published for the first time.
