This book presents two works. The heroic-epic drama "The Maiden of the Celestial Mountains" is a completely new biography of the legendary Kyrgyz Amazon warrior who lived in the 17th century under the male nickname Zhanyl Myrza, which was studied in depth over many years of work with little-known reliable facts. In 2012, the screenplay version of this historical drama was awarded the Grand Prix of the International Screenplay Competition in Seoul. In the elegy story "Peals of Rebellious Thunder" the main character is Gaukhar, our contemporary, a strong-willed young woman who, like Zhanyl Myrza, carries within herself a huge charge of devotion to the ideals of her people, passing through herself the pain for the fate of her daughters. In both works, the author with great love and warmth, amazingly subtle knowledge of the psychology of the fair sex describes the beauty, wisdom, greatness and dignity of Kyrgyz women of different eras.
