The collection "Village Stories" is about the lives and fates of the people of two villages in the Poltava region: Rogozivka during World War II and Mali Tikach in the post-war years. It was founded by a collection of stories "Zinske puppy", which were born on a Poltava farm. The inhabitants of these villages "became related" to most human virtues and vices, warming and punishing not only their neighbors, but also themselves.
Most of the heroes are old people, they had to look into the eyes of the most terrible violent death, which blindly mowed down everyone in a row during the war years, and circled around them for the longest time.
