At the conference, the utopian perspective of socialist construction in the works of Andrei Platonov was discussed in the context of the functioning of utopian consciousness in contemporary Russian society and the new trends in the study of utopianism within global humanities. This approach made it possible not only to consider innovative methods of analyzing utopianism but also to propose a reinterpreted vision of the socialist idea — one cleansed of ideological cliches.
