28 water-color drawings (1860-1862) by the undeservingly forgotten Russian painter F.F.Bagants depict not the grandeur of St.Petersburg but, on the contrary, its suburban districts, and render their special and bizarre character. The water-color masterpieces were ordered by S.A.Apraksin and represent a separate series among the count's collections. All of the offered drawings are reproduced in color and on enameled paper.
