The monograph continues the series “Archival Heritage of the IHMC RAS”, in which unique materials from the Scientific Archive of the Institute of the History of Material Culture of the Russian Academy of Sciences are introduced into scientific circulation. The second volume is devoted to the archaeological collection from excavations of the Mongol-Tibetan expedition led by P.K. Kozlov 1923–1926. in the Noin-Ula mountains. The publication examines a voluminous corpus of archival documents on the study and preparation for publication of the Noin-Ula collection at the Academy of the History of Material Culture in the 1920s–1930s. The album of illustrations reproduces original visual and photographic documents. The book is intended for archaeologists, historians, orientalists and anyone interested in ancient history.
