The book is dedicated to Bulgarian politician Yordan Sokolov (1933-2016), who served as Minister of Interior and Speaker of Parliament after the collapse of communism in 1989. Former president Rosen Plevneliev says about Sokolov: "We will remember him for his wisdom and tolerance, his strong sense of ethics and responsibility in politics, and his will to speak out on matters of importance for the whole nation.
