The book is dedicated to the young men, Jews who wanted to create their own state. In 1917, the vast majority of the Jewish population of the former Russian Empire actively participated in the revolutionary events. A significant part of the Jewish youth entered the Red Guards and got the Bolshevik party cards. And only a small number of Jews, mostly - from the South and West of Ukraine, took advantage of the revolutionary opportunities to raise the issue of resettlement in Palestine - in order to create their own state.
