The poet Oleksa Riznykiv spent a significant part of his life in Russian prisons and camps. For the fact that he is Ukrainian and he proudly announced this to the occupiers. He was born on February 24, and in 2022, on his 85th birthday, he again received a gift from the Russians that we will all never forget. He shared the bunks of Russian prisons with captured UPA fighters, members of the OUN, and was among those fighters who forged our independence for decades. Oleksa Riznykiv is an inexhaustible source of strength, optimism and faith in Ukraine. We have prepared a monumental collection, which is the personification of his struggle for our common Ukraine.
