Folklore material collected by A. A. Suzdalova on trips around Taimyr often became the basis for scenarios for puppet theater performances. The tales included in the book are only a small part of the heritage of the Dolgan folklorist, which has remained unpublished until now. The book was designed by original artists Yulia and Evgeny Porotovs.
