You can dream of anything: a mermaid's tail in the dark waters of the Svislach River, a ghostly silhouette of a ballerina near the Opera House, an extra statue at the Minsk Gates, and bloodthirsty passengers in a midnight taxi. Are you sure you've dreamed it? Be careful! Don't tell anyone that you hear the bell ringing on the platform, don't argue with the confectioner at the Central supermarket, and watch for stars: they don't just disappear... The collection includes stories by members of the Belarusian science fiction society "Writer's Drawer". Fifteen authors, fifteen works - fifteen different universes. However, they are all somehow connected with Minsk, its history, and distinctive and interesting places. Together with the characters, the reader will walk along the avenues and streets of the capital, visit the Minsk Sea and Victory Park, and encounter mystical and inexplicable phenomena... The writers rely on Belarusian mythology, but do not retell textbooks, but create their own artistic images and plots.
