The Ukrainian associative dictionary is based on the materials of a psycholinguistic experiment with native speakers of the Ukrainian language. This Dictionary continues the traditions of Ukrainian lexicography in the field of compiling associative dictionaries, founded by NP Butenko. Covers words of different parts of the language, which allows to expand the study of mental lexicon and to reproduce significant fragments of verbal memory of native speakers of Ukrainian language and culture. The reactions of male and female respondents in the Dictionary are presented separately, which allows its materials to be used for gender studies. Considered as a whole, the materials of the Dictionary help to identify culturally specific features of the conceptual picture of the world embodied in the Ukrainian language.
