Viktor Rechyts's laugh is soft and benevolent, which is what a sincere folk wit should be. The poet seems to give his characters an opportunity to improve, to become better. On November 3, 2008, V. T. Rechyts was admitted to the Union of Writers of Belarus. Awarded the badge "For great contribution to literature" (2017). In 2017, he was nominated for the National Literary Award for the book "Half Kingdom for a Smile".
In 2007, Viktar Trofimovich Rechyts went on a well-deserved vacation, but continues his creative activity with greater activity. Now he is working on the ninth collection of satirical and humorous works.
