The collection is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the birth of the Belozersk poet Alexei Yuryevich Shadrinov (02/22/1973–02/24/1992). The publication includes selected works from different years. A number of poems will see the light of day for the first time. The second part of the collection publishes research on the life and work of the poet. The book uses photographs from the archives of the Shadrinov family and the A. Yu. Shadrinov Foundation of the Belozersky Regional Museum of Local Lore.
