"Turkish Albania in the history of Azerbaijan" by Mirza Bala Mammadzadeh, one of the giants of the history of social and political thought, a mujahideen of the national liberation movement, was published on the initiative of the Azerbaijan "Turkish Hearth" Public Union.
This work of M. B. Mammadzadeh, published in Ankara in 1951, was published with an introduction by Akif Ashirli, Ph.D. in History, Chairman of Azerbaijan "Turkish Hearth", Aydin Gasimli, Ph.D. in Philology, foreword. Journalist-researcher Sarkhan Jarchi adapted the work, which was printed in 300 copies, into Azerbaijani Turkish. The book covering the history of the ancient statehood of Azerbaijan, written with reference to various sources, maintains its relevance and scientific value even today.
Contrary to the claims of Armenians and some Caucasian-speaking peoples who are trying to assimilate Albanian historiography and heritage, the work "Turkish Albania in the history of Azerbaijan" which proves that the leading ethnic origin in Albania belongs to the Turks, sheds light on the dark stages of history.
