The book-album is dedicated to a unique structure - the railway bridge over the Yenisei, built in 1899 and existed until 1999. The author of the project, engineer L. D. Proskuryakov, was awarded the Great Gold Medal at the World Industrial Exhibition in Paris. A huge number of photographs from the album consistently and documentarily reflect the history of the construction of the unique bridge. In addition, the book contains articles on the Trans-Siberian Railway, the author of the project, and the history of construction.
