The Bulgarian village of Tsarichina, 30 km northwest of the capital Sofia, became a household name in the 1990s, when excavations were carried out there in search of a treasure of extraterrestrial origin. A group led by Dimiter Sirakov persuaded the military to start searching. Over the course of two years, the military, guided by three psychics, dug a 165-meter-long tunnel.
