The book publishes ten treasure complexes, two of which consist of silver payment bullions from the 13th-15th centuries, and the concealment of the remaining eight coin hoards dates back to the first third of the 16th century. Treasures of coins from the time of the formation of the Grand Duchy of All Russia (the late 15th – the first third of the 16th century), contained in the collection of the Novgorod Museum, come from various regions and provide valuable information on the history of the formation of the unified Russian money market. High-quality images of all means of payment and other items from the published complexes are provided, as well as graphic reconstructions of coin stamps.
