Edition of a work written around 1636 in Lviv in the Armenian language (17th-century variety), not published during the author's lifetime, which is an important source for the history and mentality of the Old Polish Armenians, was quoted many times and translated in fragments into various languages (Russian, English, Eastern Armenian), but to this day there has not been a critical Polish edition, even though the original has been kept in Polish collections since its creation, first in Lviv, now in Warsaw (in National Library); it is a masterpiece of Armenian literature, and because it was created in Poland and written down by its native inhabitant - also of travel literature of the old Polish period; documents the author's long-term journey - pilgrimage, undertaken in 1608-1619 around Christian centers, both Armenian and Latin, in the Middle East and in western and south-eastern Europe; also contains information about Lviv, its Armenian institutions, ecclesiastical and secular, priests, customs of Polish Armenians, their language, and the author's autobiography from around 1636; the translation and critical editing of the source was entrusted to Hripsime Mamikonyan; the volume will be equipped with an index of people and places.
