According to the Uglich Chronicles the history of the Kremlin and the Transfiguration Cathedral in Uglich (1485) are described. Besides, great attention is paid to the interior decoration, murals and icons in particular, which are the greatest art treasures of the Cathedral. The icons date back to the early 1700s. The silver church plate exhibited in the Uglich Museum also deserves attention and is described here. The book is vividly illustrated and it is printed on glossy paper.
