The increase in the population, under the conditions of urbanization of the territory of its residence, causes the intensification of anthropogenic influences on water bodies. These regularities determine the growth of pollution volumes, as well as the need for its sanitary and environmental control. The peculiarities of the dynamics of river currents and mass transfer processes along with ecological indicators in the Carpathian territories were analyzed in order to assess the influence of the specified factors on the situation of the adjacent river network. The monograph is devoted to solving practical problems related to the peculiarities of the transfer phenomenon in ecological environments.
