The monograph is devoted to a comprehensive study of the originals of traditional Russian shirts of the Perm Territory. The study and analysis were carried out on the basis of archival, published, museum and ethnographic sources obtained as a result of expeditions. The dialectal vocabulary and terminology of Russians in Russia and the Kama region related to clothing is presented. The author considers the forms and designs of shirts, materials, decor, sewing technology and their relationship. The technique of making hand stitches, stitches, seams, the technology of processing knots and details are shown in the form of graphic images and descriptions. Types of shirt designs are given, as well as options for their main details. A catalog of the originals of traditional Russian shirts is presented in 3 projections from the collections of museums in the Perm region and the author's collection with technical descriptions of the appearance. The publication offers more than 200 design and technological schemes.
