"Town Stories" is a series of short stories in which the author raises a number of moral and ethical issues of life of Ukrainians in Soviet times. Live language, interesting characters and plot immerse you in the world of the Ukrainian village, you begin to understand the people around. The author does not make his characters perfect - they are what ordinary people are with their preferences and shortcomings. The heroes of the stories are characterized by high social activity, willingness to come to the rescue, the ability to defend their life beliefs. Heroes such as Panas Yukhymovich, Zagurko, Kobzyk are unprincipled and unstable people. Compromising with their own conscience, they isolated themselves, indifferent to everything but their well-being.
