Vyacheslav Shishkov lived in Tomsk for two decades, having arrived here as a young specialist in the winter of 1894–1895. He left for the capital in 1915 as an accomplished man: an experienced engineer who had a hand in the famous Chuysky Tract, and a successful writer. The guide tells the reader about the places in the provincial capital where the writer regularly visited. Here is the house where he lived, here is the building where he went to work. Near each house or place, their current addresses are indicated so that you can imagine what it looked like at the beginning of the 20th century.
