The monograph presents early Byzantine materials from long-term research excavations of the authors in the central part of the Bosporus city of Tiritaka on the European coast of the Cimmerian Bosporus (Kerch Strait). On the basis of the analysis of an extensive volume of material sources the reconstructions of bases of planning of the early Byzantine city and ethno-social structure of its population are presented.
