The publication analyzes and structures the main parts and thematic configurations of the philosophy of myth and religion of the world-famous European thinker of Romanian origin, founder of the Chicago school of comparative religion, M. Eliade. The ideas of the scholar formed the basis of a new culture methodology developed by the author of the monograph. The ways of synthesis of the philosophy of the myth M. Eliade with other paradigms that are significant in modern human science are determined.
