The book presents the reader with a theological analysis of the events of the Revolution of Dignity and its consequences for Ukrainian society. The revolution of dignity became the birthplace of the new Ukraine and the Ukrainian theology of freedom, which "here and now" responds to the intellectual and spiritual needs of man. The Maidan of 2013–2014 is considered not only as an important socio-political event, but it also formed a spiritual space that influenced society and the Church. An important topic in the book is understanding the connection between civil society and the spiritual community that emerged on the Maidan. The Maidan Christian community was an example of a living Church that is supra-confessional, open and closely connected with the tradition of the Kyiv Church.
