The tetralogy was created based on the real criminal case No. 65181, which was investigated in 1951 by a police captain, deputy head of the First Department of the First Department of the Investigative Part of the Moscow City Police Department - the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, the MUS, the famous MUR, Verevkin Ivan Ivanovich, father the author of the book. Much of this investigation was not included by the father of the author of the book on the instructions of his immediate superiors in file No. 65181, but much later he told his son these details and moments.
