The book narrates about the poets and prose writers who are considered to be the classics of the contemporary Russian literature: D.Samoilov, V.Sokolov, I.Lisnianskaya, S.Lipkin, Y.Davydov, V.Aksyonov, F.Iskander. The works of the poets of the new generation E.Blazheevsky and O.Khlebnikov are investigated as well. The author attempts to portray such complex phenomena, as post-Socrealism and quasiavant-garde in the context of historical and literary processes.
