The book presents previously unknown poems, correspondence and documents by or about Peyo Yavorov (1878-1914), one of Bulgaria's greatest poets and an outstanding revolutionary. They are owned by a private individual and concern the second time that Yavorov went to fight for Macedonia's liberation from Ottoman Turkish rule. He led a detachment of the Macedonian-Adrianopolitan Volunteer Corps, was elected as the first mayor of Nevrokop (today's Gotse Delchev, southwestern Bulgaria) and together with three other commanders conquered Kavala. All documents are clearly dated October 1912. Their authenticity has been confirmed unequivocally by historian and archivist Milkana Boshnakova.
