The book presents an archaeological study of glass bracelets from present-day Bulgaria, covering the entire time of their existence: from the Late Iron the Ottoman Period. A primary goal of the monograph is to illustrate that these widely distributed artifacts are a full-fledged archaeological source that carries essential information for its producers and users. The author clarifies the methods of making glass bracelets, offers a methodology for description and systematization, examines their characteristics and ways of their use, pays attention to their distribution and chronology in different periods. The book includes a register of more than 350 archaeological sites in Bulgaria, during the research of which glass bracelets were discovered.
