The article examines Russia's policy towards the United States in the post-bipolar period. The author traces the evolution of Moscow's foreign policy towards the United States in the context of the transformation of the post-bipolar world order that emerged after the collapse of the USSR and the end of the Cold War. In particular, it identifies the characteristic features of the formation and implementation of the Russian leadership's approaches to building relations with Washington in the period from the 1990s to the first half of the 2020s based on a study of the main driving forces, internal and external factors, objective and subjective reasons that influenced the development of interaction between the Russian Federation and the United States. Particular attention is paid to Russia's position on establishing interstate dialogue, resolving a number of contradictions, and problems of international and regional security with the United States in the period under review. The publication is recommended for researchers of international relations and foreign policy, experts, politicians, civil servants, students, as well as for a wide readership interested in Russia's foreign policy and Russian-American relations at the present stage.
