The [book...] is a work of primarily source character and the first of its kind in our country. It is based in its entirety on the data of canonical visits. Their exceptional historical value lies in the fact that the facts presented are verified and thus reliable. The work comes in 3 parts. The first part, the studio, is analytical-evaluative, the second, source, contains data from more than 1,620 visits (1,650 names of musicians, 1,670 information about the organs and instruments of the choirs and a set of hitherto unknown inventories of musicians). The third part consists of registers necessary for the operational use of the source database. The presented work offers a new picture of the music network of the period of classicism in Slovakia, it tells about its professors and changes in the repertoire. Probably the most attractive to the public is the first widespread image of the network of organs of the time. The publication is the culmination of the previous syntheses of D. Mudra. It has the ambition to become the basis of the next generation of syntheses and also the basis of the history specialized in the music of the Roman Catholic Church in Slovakia in the years 1760-1830. The publication is sold as a 3-volume trilogy in a beautiful cassette packaging.
